SURREALISM IS HERE TO STAY!

GoodFootBalling

I prefer using the surrealistic approach to express what I visualize on canvas or illustration board. This vision might be humorous, satirical, serious, morbid, but always uninhibited. I was fortunate and unfortunate as an African American growing up in Alabama from 1951 to 1974. During this time the country was in the Korean War, entering the Civil Rights Movement, the Viet Nam War. These were just a few of the events that gave me the experience that molded my emotional psyche. The result is a creative palette of pride, sorrow, anger, and forgiveness. My work also exhibits my training as a professional illustrator for almost three decades.
